Inside the ARES testing building

Where the propeller is mounted and tested

I got home from Texas on Tuesday this week and we unloaded the truck that night.

On Wednesday I came to work and we cleaned up the tools and equipment that we unloaded. That afternoon we began to do testing on ARES. We continued this testing Thursday and Friday. I am unable to discuss the specifications of the tests but basically what we did was test the torque, propulsion, and horse power of the blades at different pitches and then measured the temperature to determine if there was bad friction that could cause issues going on.
