The biggest regret of my life is that I wasn’t born four weeks earlier. This is because I will turn eighteen just three weeks after the 2024 presidential election, and now I will have to wait four more years to vote in my first election. My name is Paige Sharp, and I am a high school junior at an online school called Laurel Springs. I love STEM, specifically in the fields of Criminology, and Forensic Psychology, and I plan on majoring in Criminology when I go to college. I love of learning, and every subject equally. With Criminology, I am able to combine my love of math, science, social science, English, and law into one major. I am in many different extracurriculars, like robotics, theatre, and my school’s Model United Nations Club, in which I just traveled to NYC to participate in an international MUN conference. At this conference, I received the award for Best Position Paper, in which I wrote from the point of view of South Africa and AI implementation in combating climate change. I have also been published on the eDynamic Learning website for coming in third in a scholarship, in which I received money to pursue my academic interests. I also am involved with the local theatre in Montrose, Co. I will be portraying Portia in Something Rotten this May.

This is a photo of me meeting broadway star, James Monroe Iglehart after seeing him as King Arthur in Spamalot during my trip to NYC for MUN.
