The final week of my internship went by so fast that it hardly felt like a week at all. I finally got the motor correctly adjusted to run the hang test and had all the software up and running, so I ran the tests this week. After the gyroscope had been tested, I imported the data into excel and compiled several graphs, analyzing the rate measured of the X, Y, and Z axis. In preparation for the presentation on Thursday I made a lab writeup detailing the objective, materials required, procedure, and future research that could be done in areas surrounding my project. I also created a slide show that I presented which contained mostly the same material as the writeup.

Clara and I spent our final week making the most of our time in Boulder by going out to eat, exploring, and spending time at Boulder Creek. We both grew so much throughout the course of this internship, and I know that it’s an experience neither of us will ever forget. I really believe that this opportunity has changed the course of my life, and I have learned so much from the incredible people I have met, especially Jean Coulter, Ebben Clark, Dr. Koyonos, and Andrew Dahir. I would also like to thank everyone at Pinhead for making this incredible internship possible.
