Zachary Vincent-Oral History with History Colorado-Week 6

Hello all! This was meant to be the last week of my internship, but things have progressed slightly more slowly than initially expected. I spend a great deal of time in my internship reaching out to different individuals and organizations and then waiting for responses. This means that I’m really only partially in control of my own schedule. This simply means that sometimes things go slightly differently than anticipated. Thankfully, History Colorado has graciously extended my internship to include more time for me to have the chance to actually collect an oral history. This means, though, that I’m now reaching out to even more organizations in search of my collection candidate. Wish me luck as I continue, and I’ll be sure to let you all know when I’ve found that special someone!

I was able to visit my 30-year-old cousin this week, and to celebrate her twin baby boys’ first birthday! They were adorable, and I enjoyed my time immensely! The wonder in the eyes of infants remind me of just how much there is in this world to explore and learn about, something the Pinhead Institute is dedicated to!

A successful first birthday!
