Hello everybody! This week my internship was very similar to last week. I continued to search for relevant information and document it. At first, it took me longer to enter the information I found. Now, I am more familiar with the process and have become more efficient at it. On Wednesday, I had another Zoom meeting with Jennifer Sevin, who is my internship mentor. She helped me by answering some of my questions. Afterwards, I began to also search for past cases of turtle poaching in the U.S. All in all, my internship has been very interesting so far. I am glad to be contributing to such an important organization.

Outside of my internship, I spent a lot of time with my family. We baked and watched movies and shows together. I also continued to take care of my own animals.

Above is a Sulcata tortoise, which is the species I keep at home.
