Hey guys! It is now my third week of my internship with Professor Sanders. I met with Sanders this past Sunday as well as on Friday. This week I watched some video podcasts that Sanders has made with a man whose name is Eli Pine. In the “vodcast” the pair discusses what a virus is, as well as different types of viruses such as DNA viruses, retroviruses, and positive and negative strand RNA viruses. These videos were an awesome way for me to learn more about how viruses work and I am so lucky that Professor Sanders already had this resource available so it was easy to pass on to me. We also continued our work on the research of articles about the “Plandemic” documentary and how it has spread falsehoods and fear across America.

This week I went camping in Rico which was super fun. I love going to Rico because it is very remote and very pretty. I also went to Durango and did some shopping. It was really neat to see how the entire town has taken pretty strict precautions when it comes to the pandemic. I took a drive up to Mesa Verde as well this week which is something I usually do with my friends, but my sister joined me on this trip. The guided tours of Mesa Verde are still closed, but you can still drive up the mountain and get a good view of both Cortez and Mancos.
