Caitlin Ogoe – LASP Coding Training – Week 3

Hello again everyone! This week was much less hectic. I managed to just about finish up my two projects, comments and all. I had a few errors with my word count due to some pesky brackets ([]) and did a bit of clean up in terms of variable names and spacing in my code. It was amazingly satisfying to see both of my projects do exactly what they were supposed to do, AND get the stamp of approval from David. I also got started on our newest project, the Vietnamese puzzle, but found my self with a bit of coder’s block, so I ended up doing a bit of practice with my coding skills and tried a new way to make last week’s project even faster.

My computer, Stickerbrick 2.0, hard at work.

All in all, this week was both fairly uneventful and very productive. Outside of the internship, I did a lot of cooking this week, and went up to a nearby town to do a bit of summer shopping, since it somehow became June without me noticing.
