This week was super good, I got a ton of work done on my project! I spent most of the week working on my GUI and Database elements. Making GUI (the user interactive part of an app) is very straightforward but takes quite a bit of time to understand and use properly. I made a few popup windows, and connected them to my game and made an engine to run all my separate components in the app. The coding was all pretty simple but took a long time to make it just right for the user experience. I’ve included a little picture at the bottom, but I will do a more detailed showcase when it is done, or maybe at the pinhead presentations.

Outside of work I didn’t do much this week because I spent so much time on my project that I didn’t have much free time. I played soccer, went to the gym and saw a baseball game on Friday night. Super fun week overall, but sad because it is my second to last. Every week so far in boulder has been a true adventure and learning experience, it has all gotten me super exited about the future!

My pictures this week are of my game, A-Mazey, and of the satellite in the lobby of LASP where this week there was a party for the MAVEN team. I got to meet the man who wrote IDL which may sound odd but as a programmer its pretty darn cool. Super exited to wrap up in the next week and present my project to a bunch of people at LASP next Tuesday!
