When life gives you deadlines, don’t panic! This week I was finishing up the design of Maxwell’s interface plate. I had a conference call with Elliott (who’s an export on SOLIDWORKS and Arduino) and Aaron (the Maxwell project manager). They both approved of my design and suggested some modifications, in order to insure it can be built. I had to even up the clearances, to make Maxwell fit. Rise the interface plate a 10 thousandth of an inch, to allow optimal conductivity. And I also needed to make the window for the photo diode larger, incase it’s larger than expected. Since the end of our internship is coming up, Andrew needs a report. It is going to consist of what we did, and why. Time is almost up.

A checklist of modifications for the interface plate.

This week was one for food! Caroline cooked banana muffins and Mac ‘n Cheese. I cooked breaded chicken and ground beef with rice. We went to Five Guys and watched the Lion King (I recommend it)! Caroline and I also went on a dinner date to Pasta Jay’s. It poured buckets on our way to Pearl Street! We had to stop under a bridge for a little.

Here is Caroline making her mother’s favorite banana bread.

The garlic bread and Italian Sausage was to die for!

It’s very weird to know I’m leaving Boulder in less than a week. The memories shared, troubles we’ve gone through, and the moments we’ve experienced will all stay here. Only the shadows of the events will remain in our memories. It’s a good thing Boulder is not too far. I can always revisit and make many more!

Miles biked: 201.3

Total dinner dates: I believe 4
