The crew
This week we met our boss, Vicky Kalogera. She is a huge contributor to research of gravitational waves and binary systems and I have seen her papers referenced consistently throughout almost everything I have done so far. We were all a little nervous about the meeting, but it ended up being completely informal and relaxed. We each briefly explained what we thought we had been working on, and Vicky told us how accurate we were and why our topics were important to the lab’s focus. This occurred over a selection of complimentary cookies that disappeared at an alarming rate.
I continued to run mass transfer simulations despite Quest being severely congested. I was also bestowed another ream of papers from Aprajita. I am looking forward to that.
