Week three has been a little different than the rest. I only went to the Wellness Lab this week. The Better Breathers Club was closed the whole week of the Fourth of July.

Carlie W3aMy A&P class has came to end. I took a test on Tuesday on muscles, eye, ear, and brain. That was the last test of the year and the rest of the class took their final Wednesday morning. I haven’t got my test back yet to see how I did, but I feel pretty confident about the muscles.

This week in the Wellness Lab I got to watch the water aerobics exercise that they do for some people. It was pretty cool that they have the option for people to do that. I filled out a bunch of charts and helped file them. I also talked to some of the other interns about their classes and requirements to be in the Wellness Lab. They have to have 225 volunteer hours in order to graduate. They also have to do something similar to this blog. They have a Carlie W3bdiscussion board where they have four to five questions about the lab.

Our host family got back from their family reunion on Wednesday, and they brought home boxes of peaches, apricots, and cucumbers. On Saturday we helped them make jams, butters, and pickles, and can all the goodies. This took us all day but it was a lot of fun learning to do all that. Then on Sunday we helped our host family spruce up their playhouse, we painted all the wood and redid the windows. It was fun to just hang out and help with what needed to be done around the house!
