QUEST was down for maintenance at the lab this week, so I was able to work on displaying data

using Matplotlib and by Extension NumPy. As a bonus, I was also able to play soccer a lot with some of the other interns as well.

My hosts helped me use my free time by taking me to Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. Apparently we chose the right evening, because there was some great live music audible for most of our visit.

Under “The Bean” with Jack

The main attraction was Cloud Gate, aptly dubbed “the Bean.” We also stopped at a very strange fountain called Faces, a name I still haven’t figured out.
