Life outside the lab!

The first week turned out really well! Kevin (Ensor) and I both programmed a ton in Bash and, starting next week, we are both going to be working with Vicky Kalogera and one of her graduate students, Aprajita Hajela, on manipulating data we receive about X-Ray Binary systems. Life outside the lab has been glorious as well, with numerous bike rides and new friendships. My hopes are that the summer will get better as it progresses!

Scott Coughlin

Here are some pictures from my adventures in the Chicago area, one of them being the telescope in the Dearborn Observatory at Northwestern and my overseer, Scott Coughlin, who had his name published in the paper on Gravitational Waves!
