Los Angeles-based Erbaviva is a skincare company that produces everything from baby diaper cream to bath salt: and it’s all organic!
I am working with Pete Mendez (below), the head of Quality Control at the company. Pete also previously worked for companies like Johnson & Johnson and Neutrogena. A typical day consists of weighing products like shampoo and essential oils to make sure they meet standards, inspecting bottles for any type of defect, and signing release forms. It is the main job of QC to be sure a consumer will never receive a product that isn’t of exceptional quality.
My host family (there’s Thom below cooking dinner) is amazing! I’ve had the chance to go to popular places in LA, as well as to the beach in Malibu, and meet some incredible people.
