Hello, my name is Jerry Sharpe and I am a junior from Telluride High School.
Ever since taking an AP biology course, organic chemistry has been a huge interest to me that could take me into possible medical science fields. Both of my parents are doctors so I guess you could say it runs in the family, haha. I pride myself in having good grades and I like to take AP classes, not necessarily for the course rigor, but for how much more interesting they are compared to “regular classes”. I like to learn, even though being in school can drain that passion sometimes.
I am also involved in a lot of other stuff outside of school. I play three sports year round. Soccer in the fall, hockey in the winter, and lacrosse in the spring. I am also on the Telluride knowledge bowl team. I love playing music and play guitar and saxophone. However my favorite thing to do would be skiing with my friends. The picture attached is of me playing hockey this season.
