Hey everyone! This is week 2 of my internship. I am currently writing this as of 6/25/23. During this week I had a lot of free time. This last Sunday and Monday I spent my time on discord calls with friends or going outside during the evenings and watching the sunsets. On Tuesday we spent the day working on our final project, which is building race drones from a kit and of course racing them after we get them registered. Why do I need to get the drone registered? Well the drones we are using are normally used for commercial use, and exceed the FAA’s weight limit of .55 lbs. Therefore in order to be able to pilot the drone I need my part 107 license. Which leads to the events of Wednesday which all I did was schedule a date to take my part 107 test (6/29 at 10:30) throughout the rest of the week all I have done was study for this test. Other than that not much else happened.
