I started this week without much to do, since the nozzle for the 3d printer won’t come in until next week, so not much progress was made with the 3d printer throughout the week. Instead of working on the printer gram and I worked on this metal piece that will be going into space for CASA’s SPRITE project. We used SolidWorks to find the exact size of screw holes needed to attach the metal pieces together. After finding the size of needed screws we ordered the ones that we needed. Since the holes on the pieces were already drilled we just needed to add threads to the holes so that screws could screw in. This means that we got to work in the shop and use actual tools. By the end of the week the metal pieces were finished and ready to be screwed together, so now we just have to wait for the screws to arrive.

On Friday night, I went climbing at the gym with Graham and his friend Merrick. It was very fun to climb with someone I know that is my age. On Saturday, I drove up boulder creek and hammocked with my sister and her friends for the day and it was a lot of fun.
