Hello! This week, I was in Boulder with my sister. The week was really focused on our final projects. During the start of the week, I designed the project. I’m going to make a more complicated version of tic tac toe complete with a database and a web component which will display data about the games. I wrote down the classes and functionality that I would need to make in a Google doc, which made it a lot easier to break the project down into smaller, more manageable parts. Then, I got to work on the actual coding. My main achievement was making a class of functions that could check whether a game was won, resulted in a tie, or was not finished yet. After I made that, I got to work on the graphical side of things. I was able to get a button to display X or O after it was clicked and I have a very good understanding of where to go from here.

I wrote a few essays this week because college applications are now open. I also went tubing and hung out with my sister a lot. Now I am heading back to Ridgway.
