My third and final week in Boston was amazing. It was another short week as I left on Friday so my last day was Thursday. This blog post is two weeks late because I was in Canada with no WiFi for the first and had a baseball camp this past week that took up most of my free time. My final week working at BU was mostly spent on refining my graphs and making my presentation the best it could possible be. I learned what resolution really means and its applications in order to improve new sciences. For Example, here you can see the Mass Resolution, how well the triggers recorded the mass of a photon vs what it should be, between L1T and Generated level photons. The gaussian curve shown is about 8%, which for all triggers is very good and is a promising sign that this future study is possible with our current setup. My final week consisted of another 20 of these types of graphs just to show our current efficiencies and resolutions for low-mass photons and to prove that this study is possible. My final presentation that I gave to the others that worked in my office can be found here.

Along with putting the final touches on my presentation, I went to Dear Evan Hansen at the Boston Opera House and got a free hat! That was my final night with my host family and it was fantastic! I hope to stay in touch with those I worked with and I had a great, condensed three weeks in Boston!
