It’s hard to believe that it’s already over. This internship has been a great experience, and I’m very glad to have had the chance to do it.

This week, we mostly worked on creating a video about everything that we did throughout the internship. First we scripted the video, figuring out what we were going to say and what pictures or videos we were going to include with it.

Then, we began putting the pictures and videos into iMovie, which is what we used to make the video. After the initial outlining of the video, we went to record the audio. We couldn’t find an available study room in the library, so we found a courtyard and got to recording.

We put the audio clips in, and pretty soon we had a video. There was still some work to do; we went through the code we had written and made sure it was all commented well and that the others would be able to work with it and start where we left off.

On Friday, the whole group had a lunch together at an Indian restaurant, before we returned to the office to watch the video Andrew and I had made. After the video, we went with Charlie to the library to look at some parts we hadn’t before and say goodbye. They had some chairs shaped like tops that you could spin around in by shifting your weight.

After we returned to the house, my mom arrived to help us pack and drive me home. First, we had dinner at a ramen place – actual ramen is very different to instant ramen, and if you haven’t had it I sincerely recommend it. The next day, we packed our things up and drove the six hours from Salt Lake City to Ridgway.

If you’d like to watch the video, here it is:https://youtu.be/HbxRXdYqjU4
