Hello! I am here! Well, what did I do last week? Alrighty, I didn’t spend much time actually doing internship stuff since it was the 4th of July. They were open July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and closed the 4th and 5th. The week was short but I still learned a lot. I learned a lot about the software you might use in the game industry. Well, these can be used outside the industry as well… I learned a little bit about Jira and about how tickets work, Visual Studio which is an IDE, and Perforce for branch management stuff. Outside of work, I spent time working on personal programming stuff, watching TV, relaxing, exploring, etc. On Monday and Tuesday, my host family took me to explore the 16th street mall and we bought clothes on Monday and Tuesday we went to a theater to see the new Spider-Man movie. Thursday was the 4th of July so that meant the new season of Stranger Things is out and we watched 5 episodes. I guess it’s also Independence Day and there were lots of cool fireworks. I spent a lot of time just relaxing and programming on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Sorry for the shorter blog this week. None maybe there will be more to tell next week…

See ya!
-Ethan
