This week on Tybee I did a little bit more memory work, and a little bit learning more detail about the animals and plants native to the island. Everything I had learned in the first two weeks were questioned so that I would have to make sure I was taking in the information and soaking it all up like a sponge, which that is what salt water marshes do by the way is to soak up the water and bacteria like a sponge to filter it. We taught a different group of kids the same things as last week but this time it tested my memory because they let me do a couple of modules.

Every time we do a module I do it with a different person and every one has something different to add about the animals so each time it goes in more depth about each animal. This week I learned more about the animals behaviors and needs as for as what they need to have in both the wild but mostly the needs they have while in rehabilitation. I’m learning a lot about the islands near and how underdeveloped and untouched they are.

More learning I have done is how to be a pretty good swimmer and how the tides change and how the current feels differently. The land changes and the life you can see changes when it’s high tide and low tide. I’m also learning a lot about the history of Savannah and how historic they have kept part of it.
