This week, I joined in the rush to get the MinXSS 2 satellite ready for launch. I was involved in temperature testing of the satellite, which involved heating it and running a diagnostics test, as well as cooling and running diagnostics. I was tasked with most of the operation of the equipment while my coworkers handled the transportation of the satellite and most of the diagnostics.

I spent the 4th of July with family in Golden; we went paddleboarding on Evergreen Lake, played cornhole, and watched fireworks.

On the way to work on Thursday, since I was leaving from Golden instead of Westminster, I missed the bus and had to get a ride all the way to Golden. Fortunately, as I am staying in Golden again this weekend, I will get a chance to try again; hopefully I arrive on time and on the bus.
