This week was an eventful week. I was on the Scholastics Expeditions trip. We went to the Channel Islands off the coast of California. We got to go scuba diving on Prince Rock, San Miguel Island. We also did kayaking and identified inverts. On the second day we moved to Santa Rosa Island and hiked the Torrey Pines Trail. We moved to Santa Cruz Island after the hike and got to go in the Painted Caves. We also continued to snorkel, which I was terrified to do but with the help of Emma I did it! Instead of kayaking we went to explore the caves and saw sea lions resting. The trip was amazing and I learned a lot more about the ocean. The food cooked for us was great. Thank you, Pinhead!
