Hello everyone! As you could guess, I’m sadly no longer in Oklahoma. It’s alright though! As now I’m back home and will cherish that opportunity forever.
The final week of my incredible internship we focused on finishing up a RC transfer for our black foam glider.
This transfer involved purchasing a plane online that had a similar wingspan and weight. It was only until after the plane arrived we realized this may not have enough power to work on our glider. None the less we still persisted and modified the glider into a RC plane. (With varying levels of success…)

On top of that we had the honor of getting a private tour of the propulsion labratory, where we got to look at all sorts of fun things. Rockets, jet engines, solid and liquid rocket fuel, and more! My favorite part was seeing a poster that had Tanners name on it. Goes to show how things stick around for a long time there when you work hard on it.
(Another test of the pink foam plane.)
We also had the honor of getting started for our Pintern presentations! One of the OSU team, Richie, wanted us to present of the positives and AOI (Areas of Improvement) for this internship. I wont say what the positives or AOI’s were, since you’ll hear about that in my Pintern presentation.
And for fun Ben, Carter, and I went to a trampoline park for a lil fun.

Lastly, as a thank you and goodbye, Tanner, our primary mentor and leader, took us out to lunch at Braums. This place was incredible and had the best shakes I’ve had in a while. If anyone is to visit Stillwater or anywhere in Oklahoma, Braums is a must try.
Signing off, Rider.
Cheers and GO POKES!!

Funny story, but the Tanner Price on that poster was not our Tanner Price. It was another one that doesn’t work at OSU anymore
