This week I most worked on my personal project which was mostly trouble shooting issue I ran into. Starting the week off I was waiting for a couple of materials. On arrival I realized that the MRS was not the right formula I needed. The MRS that came was a premix that contains agar which is a congealer, with it already in the mix I can only make plate though I needed broth as well. After that the rest of my week was spent on figuring out the best way to either to get the ingredients to make MRS or separate the agar from the formula. I tried as many things I could throughout the week but most thing won’t workout. The last thing that I tried on Friday seemed to work but I will not be able to confirm till Monday.

During my free time I have continued to play soccer and workout. The other Interns and I have started to hangout more often though they are leaving early due to unforeseen circumstances. Looks like Bala and I will be the only ones left in the lab working on different project, using each other for help of course. I plan to go to La Hola Cove this coming weekend to relearn to surf and also build the biggest sand castle I can, this coming week being my last and all.
