25 Mar About Me – Philip Brooks

Hello, my name is Philip Brooks and I am a junior at Telluride High School. This summer I will be working alongside Olivier George and others at the George Lab at UCSD, studying the neuroscience of addiction. I’ve been interested in psychology ever since taking a psychology class in my German-speaking school in Austria last year. I’ve also become fond of biology through my AP Biology class this year. Outside of school, I love sports and travel, with some of my favorite sports being skiing and hockey. I’m excited and thankful for this internship and cannot wait to start learning.
