Our Annual Fundraiser
A crowd pleaser for more than 15 years attracting those from near and far, the Science of Cocktails is Pinhead’s not-to-be-missed annual fundraiser. Held every July, the event combines intriguing experiments with density, sublimation, acoustic integration, and even comestible colloids with the finest in Telluride’s craft mixology scene.
All proceeds go to Pinhead Institute Programming.
General Admission ($100) gets you everything for the evening’s festivities and Top Shelf ($200) adds a raffle entry for two hours of Maker Time at Pinhead HQ.

Geek Out
Vote for the coveted People’s Choice Award, and watch scientists debate the technical merits of each beverage before awarding the Best Science Drink Award. Both prizes are badges of honor for participating establishments. Mingle with local and visiting science nerds, our Pinhead Interns, and enjoy appetizers and a silent auction. The bonus….feel great knowing your attendance helps support K-12 STEM education throughout regional, Southwest Colorado.
We welcome ticket purchases even if you can’t attend. Just let us know and we’ll donate your ticket to a local who couldn’t otherwise afford to come.
