Cooper Rondinelli: Programming and Data Science, LASP, Week Three

This week, we continued and finished thermal testing for MinXSS; also, we started building a possible replacement battery pack to be included on the satellite in its flight. Outside of the lab, I have progressed in writing the GUI to display rocket data; I have come across some difficulties interpreting the data, so until I can figure that out, I have been writing the GUI to be able to easily display the data no matter how I ultimately read it.

On Thursday after work, I met up with my fellow Pinterns, Mike and Aidan; we went to dinner at Cosmo’s Pizza and then walked the Pearl Street Mall. We very much enjoyed ourselves exploring Boulder; we found a shelf in a bookstore labeled “Sounds True”, which I think might be the weirdest thing I have seen in many years.

    Hi Cooper,
I would like to see the battery pack, hopefully, they will let you post it. As for the data, I am sure you will figure that out as well.

    Keep up the good work!

    Best,
    Mr. Pankow
