Join us for MAD LABS on Tuesday afternoons for a different hands-on, scientific activity each week that will encourage kids to experiment, learn, design, create, investigate, and more. A Pinhead Institute representative will be available to walk kids to Pinhead HQ from the Telluride Elementary School.

Dive into the magical world of animation! In this STEAM class, students will learn how to bring their imagination to life using stop motion technology. They’ll learn about storyboarding and illustration, create characters, backdrops and sets using clay, found objects and more! At the end of 4 weeks students have the opportunity to present their directorial debut as a stop motion movie maker!

In “Fashion Engineering,” creativity meets cutting-edge technology! This STEM class invites students to design, prototype, and bring their fashionable ideas to life. Participants will learn about design processes such as tessellations and other key elements of pattern-making, using hands-on techniques to prototype their designs. During the course, students will take their designs from concept to reality by 3D printing their creations and assembling them into functional fashion pieces. Whether you’re dreaming of accessories, wearable art, or something entirely new, this class will help you engineer your vision and explore the exciting world where fashion meets technology!

Pinhead offers a monthly open house for kids of all ages to drop in after school to work on a themed laser-cutting project or create their own on our Glowforge Laser Cutter. Snacks are provided. Parents are welcomed to join in on the fun as well! Come and go any time between 3:30pm and 5:30pm.

Pinhead offers a no-school STEAM project day for our Norwood students at Lone Cone Library. There is a different project every week. Snacks and supplies provided.
REFUND POLICY:
Full tuition less a $25 administrative fee will be credited to your account when cancellations occur 14 days or more before a class begins. No refund will be given when a cancellation is made less than 14 days before a class begins. Class transfers are subject to the same restrictions as cancellations, and a $25 administrative fee will apply. Please email info@pinheadinstitute.org if you need to cancel or transfer a class.
All classes are subject to minimum enrollment numbers; full refunds will be issued for any class canceled by the Pinhead Institute.
