ART LAB: “Tech” Styles

Sew, stitch, and program your wardrobe in this wearable art/science class. Using unusual materials to create new trends and laser cutting techniques to invent interesting patterns, we’ll explore how to incorporate lights and sounds into clothing. We’ll explore weaving, dying, and felting, and then bring our creations into the 21st century by adding technological components. This fun, exploratory class will have students designing and engineering their way into the high-tech fashion world!
